What makes Rebel Nail Salon different from other Salons?

Rebel Nail Salon offers gentle, non-abrasive Mani/Pedi options that focus solely on preserving the health and integrity of your natural nails.

Special effort is made on sustainability in and around the salon by implementing “low-waste” methods before, during and after all nail services.

Each brand of polish and all products used at Rebel Nail Salon have been hand-picked by Chelsie Olivieri (owner | founder) and are certified non-toxic, vegan and cruelty free.

  • At Rebel we do not remove product applied at another salon.
    Gel Removal services are reserved for returning clients who have been serviced within 4-6 weeks since their last appointment.

    If you're a new or returning client wearing product from another salon, we kindly ask that your nails be bare of any product before your appointment at Rebel.

    Please note: Any appointment that includes a gel removal may be declined if it doesn’t meet these guidelines. This policy ensures we can safely care for your natural nails and uphold our standards of service.

    Any product that needs to be removed using an e-file (a Nail Technician tool used to remove acrylic, dip, polygel, gel-x and hard gels) cannot be removed at Rebel Nail Salon.

    If a client comes in with product from another salon still intact, the appointment will be canceled and the card on file will be charged 100% of the service cost.

  • Rebel Nail Salon is an all-natural Nail Salon.

    We stick to products that can be gently removed without the use of an e-file (a tool used to remove specific nail products).

    The nail polish lacquer used for our Natural Nail Manicures are 10-toxin free, vegan/gluten free, cruelty free and made in the USA.

    Both brands are small businesses.

    The soft gel and BIAB (Builder Gel) product that we use is non-toxic, vegan and cruelty free.

    All products used at Rebel Nail Salon are safe to use on and around pregnant and chest-feeding persons.

    - Any form of nail extension

  • Gel polish can last around 2-3 weeks, but we suggest not going past 3 weeks. The longevity of your manicure also depends on your everyday tasks. Treat your nails like jewels… not tools!

  • Builder Gel is a great option for clients who want a stronger, more durable product.

    I always describe Builder Gel as being in between a Soft Gel (or "regular gel") and Hard Gel finish.

    The product itself is thicker and applied in layers. With this added thickness comes a more durable nail, but this doesn't mean that they're indestructible.

    Builder gel can last up to 3 + weeks, but we don't suggest going past 4 weeks.

  • Our Natural Nail Polish can last up to a week without chipping, sometimes longer based on your daily life tasks (and even longer on toes!).

  • Cutting ingrown toenails requires a medical board certification and state license.

    If you’re experiencing any toenail or foot pain, please make sure to see a licensed Podiatrist. Any sort of infection that is left unseen can lead to serious health risk.

  • In an effort to reduce waste and operate more sustainably, we do not offer disposable flip-flops. Thank you for supporting our low-waste practices. Small changes make a big difference!

  • Fungal Infections are exactly that… AN INFECTION. Which means that you’re more likely to spread at infection if it’s not treated before coming to your nail appointment.

    If you are uncertain that you have a fungal infection, please see a doctor or podiatrist before booking a nail appointment. Thank you.

  • Email and text are the most reliable ways to reach us. Please allow 24–36 hours for a response. Messages sent outside of business hours may take longer to reply to.

    *WE DO NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS OR RESPOND TO VOICEMAILS

    If it’s an urgent matter, we may take action (such as cancelling an appointment or adjusting a service, if possible) without first sending a reply.

    For quick answers, please check our FAQ page on the website, messages with answers already available there may not receive a response.

    We are a small, one-person-run business, and your patience and grace are truly appreciated.

  • If you're not satisfied with your manicure, please reach out within 2 days of your appointment so we can schedule a fix. We’re happy to make it right when given the opportunity.

    For any chips or issues that happen after 5 days: fixes, refunds, or discounts are offered on a case-by-case basis.
    **We ask that photos be sent with any nail fix requests.

    We stand by our work and always aim to be fair—please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a concern.

  • Cash: (no convenience charge).

    Debit/Credit Cards: All cards accepted.
    *all card transactions will be charged an additional $2 convenience fee.

    Card on File: All clients have the option of using their card on file.
    *these transactions will be charged an additional $3 convenience fee.

    Tap-to-Pay: Apple, Google.

  • CASH PREFERRED, tip on card or venmo (if approved by tech)

  • Clients receive a confirmation text along with an email 48hrs prior to their appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so as soon as possible.

    We kindly ask for at least 24-48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

    Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a 100% service charge, as that time is reserved just for you.

    What if it’s an emergency?

    We totally understand that life happens—in the case of emergencies, fees may be waived on a case-by-case basis. Just keep us in the loop, and we’ll do our best to work with you.

    “I rescheduled my appointment by putting myself on the waitlist. Why am I getting charged?”

    Putting yourself on our waitlist is not rescheduling the appointment. This means that the original appointment still stands.

    Why am I still receiving notifications for an appointment I cancelled/rescheduled?”

    If you are still receiving notifications about an appointment you thought you cancelled or rescheduled, that’s a sure sign that it’s still a standing appointment and it needs to be cancelled to not be charged our fee.
